Spend over a month in the hospital... Lost all my gains..

    Just want to vent.

My dad had heart surgery. Triple bypass which is routine, but not so much at his age (80, had me when he was 58 ish lol) .
I joined this forum at 135 lbs (5'11) and thanks to all the advise and motivations from members on here i was 170lbs about a month and half ago. ..
Well i spent pretty much most of the time in the hospital with my dad, taking care of him and getting him back to shape. meant no gym, missing meals and eating crappy....
I NOW WEIGH A MERE 146LBS.... WTF how can someone loose over 25lbs in such little time?
I mean no cardio and still i lost this much ...
All this progress and it;s gone... I don't feel like putting all that work and effort again .. having to start from scrach...One of the main reasons i haven't been on here as much or posting... just ashamed...
    Complete bs... ..
Well enough of my whining ... .. sorry for the rant, this will make it better, ( thread of hot natural college gurls i found haha):

Sorry to hear about your dad. Good thing he had you there to get him through it.
Don't be so hard on yourself. We all get setbacks. but muscle memory is a true thing and you can get it all back once you start eating right and working out again. Don't give up

btw, if that link has naked women in it, you need to delete it, sorry. it wouldn't open for me even without the space, so I couldn't check

Sorry to hear that. You will get everything back. The important thing is you made the right decision being there for your dad.

Very true. I lost 15pounds in 2 weeks. I got sick and then flew to Brazil for vacation. Needles to say that I did not lift at all, diet sucked and was doing a lot of night time cardio.

Once I re-started, recovered it all in 6 weeks, without juice.

So this is related to muscle memory...

I have not done any cycles .. does that come into account?

I was also a "roid virgin" when this happened. Just start with your regular diet and workout plan and you will see how everything will come back pretty fast.

I took a forced break late last year also. I ended up losing 10 hard earned lbs. I used it as motivation, gained it back within 30 days and kept pushing further. now I am up another 17 lbs. Use it to your advantage, it will come back faster then you can imagine...

    sorry about your father bro,

i've actually been in the hospital for a month at a time a few times, in bed on drip, it's the ****ing worst , you can't even walk after laying down so bad,

the last time i tried to go to the shitter myself after being in the bed for like 2.5 weeks, guess i passed out and they found me on the floor, almostr at the shitter though

think of this as new motivation, you can do it

I know exactly what you're talking about. That was the main reason i had to be at the hospital round the clock, so my dad doesn;t pass out or fall during a bathroom visit.

Yea couldn't eat right... Limited visits home meant i had to eat some junk food that i found disgusting so i didn;t even really eat that..

sorry to hear about your dad, but you did the right thing absolutly and you will be rewarded.
Its not all bad, ones who do good at the end of day get what they wish for sure.
put in the work and discipline yourself and you shall gain even more this time around.
