    New, and continuously improved

    Hey all, new member here.
First off, I have been using this site as my main reference for quite some time now, so thank you to all of those who have helped me (even though I never told you)!

    A little background on myself:
I am now in my 4th year at University of Fl and I am FINALLY back to lifting after years of shoulder problems.
I started lifting my junior year of high school as an ectomorph, barely pushing 150. After 6 months of lifting I was up to about 175 and solid. My shoulder problems began my senior year of high school after dislocating my shoulder while surfing. Long story short, a few hundred dislocations later, and now after having 3 shoulder surgeries (2 on my left, 1 on my right) I am finally back to lifting. All of my surgeries were performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham.
My first surgery was arthroscopic (may, 2006). 4 screws I was told and a SLAP and Bankart repair. This surgery failed almost exactly one year out and was revised with an open procedure (july 2008) to fix a 360 degree labral tear as well as to deal with some damage to my humeral head and socket. 11 screws later, Dr. Andrews told me it was one of the worst he'd seen.
In the meantime, I somehow managed to dislocate my right shoulder on my skateboard and had arthroscopic surgery to fix a 300 degree labral tear (dec 2008).

I am now 5 months out of my last (hopefully) surgery, and after disappearing to less than 145 pounds I am finally back to training hard. I'm fairly unrestricted except for bench and any overhead motions. My ROM is shot in my left side, but recovering fast on my right. I'm back up to almost 170 and on a high calorie weight-gain diet. My goals are to get as strong as possible, with size and mass taking a not-too-close second. Anyways, thats me. Thanks for reading.
