my dr wants to do them for soething unrelated but i don't want it to come up....but a sepparate test would be needed for the roids right?

im not sure what the test would be like through the doctor.
A regular drug test only covers narcotics.
It is your doctor though so if he finds anything he has to keep it confidential though

most dont look for steroids - too expensive to test for.
mostly the rec/abused drugs/substance abuse....
the detect time is short. go clean, get your bloodwork done then, if it's not a rush
