what are the reasons for increased LDL, lowered HDL in the body by steroid use?
and how can it be prevented?

It really cannot be prevented, it can be managed by the use of cholestrol managing agents, alot of nutritional companies make products for the average steroid user or pro-hormone user.
One example, is Cycle Support by Anabolic Innovations.
think of LDL as the scrubbing bubbles in your blood stream..
HDL as the stuff that will block small holes and and leaks in the veins and arteries a paste like what is used in flat tires to line them..
Well the HDL will continue to build up and build up much like a pearl does, and the LDL acts like a fine scrubbing powder that keeps the pathways open..
make sense??
