No he didn't. Just because he broke the law doesn't mean the police get to forget all protocol and laws themselves. They are paid and trained to do things a certain way and the ywere fired for mot performing those duties approporiatley, but rather grossly overstating thier authority in the situation. that was assault. It has nothing to do with the severity of the crimes commited. You mat not like these words but they are true.

the cops were treating him like any other drunk guy whose standing in the middle of a street when an emergency is going on, not only is the guy DRUNK in the STREET but theres paramedics doin their job however many feet away and being a paramedic myself i dont want some drunkin idiot interfering with my scene, the cops did exactly what i would have wanted them to do
