I need to send like $5500 to china from USA. They want ID after $1000 which is fine but then after $3000 they want ID, SS card, Employment information etc. How do I get around this?

Send it to me in small amounts and i will forward it...
Assuming you asking this on a board such as this your going to get in trouble. Anytime your ID is used your screwed if anyone gets wise to you.
That amount of money your droppin just take a vacation over to china and deliver the money in person
fed-ex that shit....it will be much cheaper anyway...
western union fees are crazy man...
just send it $2750at a time
The fees will kill you.
Reminder: Unless you know the person you are sending to (which im assuming you dont), dont be a moron and send that much money to a stranger. thats a good way to lose a lot of cash.
personal delivery X2
Wow...everyone knows why you are sending that and what its for. Good luck getting those powders into the US. Absolutely the worst idea you could do is to post information regarding you arranging a large purchase of powders on the single most visited steroid forum in the world.
Send $1000 at a time? Fees to china is only $14 ever $1000.

I think you will be loosing a lot of money.
western union have no sender protection. if you dont know that guy all he has to do is go into that western union with a fake id and pick up the cash.
there are more scams on the net running out of china than anywhere else i believe so be carefull because there smart and will get ya easy if your not carefull
dont do it, unless you truly have the money to lose.
trust no one.
Just break the payments up.. (this sucks, because you'll have to pay multiple fees for the money transfer, but it's the only way to do it discreetly)..
Send $999 at a time. Which means you'll have to do 6 separate transfers. But IMO it's the only safe way, no I.D. ever needed.
Basically it will cost you around $40 per 900$ you send, so be prepared to pay an extra 250 - 300$ for the money transfers... that shouldn't be a problem though, seeing as you're already spending 5 and a half large.. LOL
