Hello to all, been lurking for about a week and decided this is the board for me.
Thanks to all who contribute and make this board what it is.
A little about me:
27 year old guy, been lifting since I was 16. Only did one cycle when I was 20 years old (sustanon/deca for 10 weeks, don't remember the exact dosages). Anyway I was really skinny when I started (like 145-150lbs and I'm 5'11" btw)
shot up to 224 lbs and absolutley jacked. I was amazed at the results for my first cycle, but my diet had ALOT to do with it. So I never cycled again after that and kept most of my gains for about 3 years, again through diet and supplements. Then in 2003 I developed an inguinal hernia from lifting all the time plus 8 hours a day delivering appliances at work (ever try carrying a side-by-side refrigerator up 3 flights of stairs? NOT FUN!) so I had to cut back on the weights and started to lose all my gains. Fast forward to 2005, and Im back to 175 and I tear the goddamn hernia one day at work. Woke up 12 hours later after the surgery and I got instantly hooked on pain meds. Needless to say I started popping these like tic-tacs and that was all she wrote as far as working out was concerned. Finally beat that demon and overcame my addictions last year. So 6 months ago I decide its time to get my lazy ass back in shape so I've been working out with light to moderate free weights/P90x/and resistance bands cause I REALLY don't want another hernia. Finally I'm almost as strong as ever but I'm struggling with any visible
gains so I figure I'll try another cycle and now I'm here. Looking forward to meet some good people on these boards, get inspired, and hopefully hear from someone who might have been in a similar "slump." Anyway I've rambled enough so I'll see ya around the boards.
