Can anyone give me good banks to get student loans from?

So, I need to get student loan for my upcoming fall semster in college and I had this 10,000+ loan with this bank (name will be with-held) and I am paying the interest payments while still in college. Anyway the money is now spent and I need more. So I call and re-apply and THEY DENY ME because I didnt have a co-signer, first I was like WTF? I have never been late on a payment with you guys and second its a FREAKING STUDENT LOAN its not like I can file for bankruptcy and make it go away so why the **** does it matter if I have a cosigner or not. Also when I applied for my other student loan they gave me, I didnt have a co-signer so needless to say I was pissed.

So I was wondeirng where else can I apply that give out good student loans without a cosigner?

don't go with the bank...there are lots of gov't funded loans out there. And they are lower apr's...but you have to do the foot work online / library researching them. By the way... When i went to college (a decade ago) I needed a co-signer too from a bank. Nothing new

i dont think u can get a loan without a co-signer, unless you have credit established, but then again i just pay for my own schooling- so i guess i really dont know

I go through the SunTrust but they won't give you any more than the cost of tuition and estimated cost of living which ends up being like $7,000 per semester. I always just apply through the financial aid office at school
