Thread: I'm probably paranoid, but is this gyno...

I'm probably paranoid, but is this gyno...

I started my first cycle 2 weeks ago. I'm taking 500 mg Test E (250 mg injections on Monday and Thursday) and 40 mg Dbol ED (I take a 10 mg tab every 4 hours, 4x a day). I'm also taking .50 mg L-dex every other day (taken before bed).

    32 years old, 6' 1" tall, 230 lbs, 14% body fat.

Yesterday, I noticed the right side of my chest felt sore (not the usual post-workout soreness, more like a dull pain). The location of the soreness is about 1" above my nipple. Today, I am noticing a small bruise in this area, however, I do not feel any lump at all. My nipple also seems unusally sensitive, but it does not hurt to the touch and there is no lump present. Am I overreacting, or could this be a sign I need to drop the L-dex and start taking Nolvadex? I have not experienced any itching in my chest, the only things I've noticed that are unusual are the soreness and bruise above my nipple and the hightened nipple sensitivity (for example, the feeling of a shirt rubbing against it is irritating).

I think maybe I might be overracting, but better safe than sorry....

I never heard of bruising before... Hmmm.. Other people here may have. If your tits are "buzzing", sensitive, or any other "Weird" thing, it is most likely the beginning of gyno. That's what Nolva is for bro. Don't be paranoid, just start taking care of it. I would ask more about the bruising though. I'm curious as to what the veterans say to this...

you dont have to drop the adex to start the nolvadex either

From what I've read, Nolvadex will significantly decrease the effectiveness of Arimidex, therefore it doesn't make sense to continue taking it.

Read WARMachine's thread on estrogen control and PCT.

If I decide to go ahead and start the Nolvadex, I would stop taking the L-dex and begin taking Nolvadex at 40 mg ED for 5 days, then 20 mg ED until the symptoms are no longer present, then maintain a dosage of 10 mg ED until I begin PCT, at which point I would increase the dosage to 20 mg ED throughout my 4 weeks of PCT.

Before I decide to go down that road, I'd like to make sure that what I am experiencing is in fact gyno-related. I'm curious about the visible bruise on my chest. That area is specifically where the soreness is coming from.

War's forum on PCT is excellent. I would, honestly, keep an eye on that bruise. ALso, look around your body and see if you have any more. If it gets worse go to the doc.

Did you bounce the bar or dumbbell off your chest? Maybe you didnt notice. I have hit my chest with the dumbbell before without noticing or thinking about it and got a nice little bruise.

Even if you dont drop it, it doesnt take much of a bounce or even resting it to much can cause a bruise or tender area.
    Dont be over paranoid...

im well aware of what it says in wars article. nolvadex reduces letro plasma levels by about 38% and adex plasma levels be about 30%.

i still want to limit further conversion of test to estrogen with the adex and try and keep estrogen in normal range while im trying to keep the already elevated and present estrogen from binding to the receptors in the breast with the nolvadex. so the adex being 70% effective stopping further conversion while at the same keeping the circulating estrogen from binding and causing any more problems seems fine to me.
no reason to stop the adex. up to you.

    hummmm

a bruise? no. gyno doesnt cause bruising.

sounds like you smacked yourself, bounced the bar off your chest (which, is bad form and not a way to progress properly...).....

take 2 fingers. push on the area, and do small circles. feel any lumps?

I definitely didn't bounce a bar off my chest.

I determined it's definitely not gyno. Today there's still a nice sore bruise, but I have no irritation of any kind left in my nipple and I definitely do not feel any bump.

I'm very paranoid about gyno, I've worked hard to get to the point I'm at and I don't want to throw over 10 years of hard work away in 12 weeks by adding a nice pair of fun bags to my physique.
