You have an infection my friend. An arthritic infection can be the most painful experience and most dangerous to the limb you could ever have happen. I have a knee infection after taking a blast in the army from a frag device. I waited three days of pain before going to emergency thinking I twisted it or something and they had me in surgery within two hours, I would have lost my leg if i waited a couple more days. Get to emergency right now, I don't mean after dinner or after you blast your bi's, drop whatever is in your hand grab the keys and run the lights, I'm dead serious. I signed up in this forum to get this message to you. You don't want to lose your arm, go now. I will send you a P.M. too, I don't know how long you have had this, if it is strep or staph they will need to irrigate, you are going to be off the weights for many months, never inject that close to a joint into a small muscle. May I ask what you were thinking injecting into that muscle. That is no place for intramuscular administration of oil based parenteral medication people.
