hit a nerve in my delt??

I think I struck a nerve this morning when I went to pin my delt, never had any issues there...I do not know if I hit it to high up my shoulder or what but as soon as I pinned it my middle deltoid started twitching like CRAZY...like a muscle spasm in my striations. I immediately withdrew and dropped it about an inch lower to inject. Kind of freaked me out a little but no more than the usual soreness today.

Anyone had this happen before??

Yeah I was pretty freaked...does a muscle in your thigh spaz out too?

Happened to me before lol. I dont know what cause that but I just pinned in diff location the other shoulder.

Same here lol, as soon as the pin touches it i jump about five feet......

Again ive never had that problem with my delts or left thigh, very strange...

left thigh for me, the muscles in the leg jump around like a dieing fish until you pull the needle out,

just pick a new spot and try again is all you can do i guess

Sounds like you maybe hit your Axillary Nerve

Whatever you do don't push through it, I used delts as an injection spot when I was doing tren so if I hit the nerve my shoulder would start to spaz and I would lightly press through it and it would stop.

Anyway flash forward to months later now sometimes during the day or during my workouts my left shoulder will start to pulsate/spaz lightly on its own.

Its weird...

If you hit a nerve, just push threw it, unless there is extreme pain. I've given shots to patients before and same thing, just push threw it. When a nurse gives you a shot they push it in fast, not enough time to pull back if they hit a nerve.

You'll be fine, unless like I said, it hurts like hell, then stop.

yea sounds like a direct hit would be more than some twitchin and more of some fkn extreme pain
