Tiratricol or Cytomel?..... I now have a vote for one and the other!

Howdy,

Okay, so a company (who shall remain nameless) recommended Tiratricol over Cytomel, and Phate from the forum recommended Cytomel. So, now I am torn. The first is a hormone analogue and the latter is the non-analogue - which is better and please tell me why.

i would have to say cytomel as well as Tiratricol is a metabolite of Triiodothyronine so it would make sense to me to use the parentcompound. tho i will admit im not an expert on the subject so take my answer with a grain of salt.

It sounds like what you are saying is that both are parent compounds? If not, please tell me which one you are saying is. If neither, then what is the parent compound's name?

cytomel is the parent compound, if you use Tiratricol what will happen is your body will take is and eventually turn it into t3, so why not just skip the intermediate steps and use the cytomel

Tiratricol is a fairly ineffective precursor with same, if not worse, possible sides/consequences than t3. IMO its a no brainer - T3.
