First off, I just wanted to say hi. My brother (bigol'legs) seems to be pretty active on this site, so I figured I would not only lurk, but get myself back in shape.
Background:
Did some wrestling in High School, and then got turned onto weights (which spurred bigol'legs to start lifting). I quite lifting seriously all together when I went off to college and have been a casual lifter when I can. I have gotten a couple of degrees since then and worked on my career so I never made time to get serious. I have always been natural and will continue to do so.
I am 33 years old (just turned), 5'11, 210lbs, and estimate my bf% to be 18-20% probably more on the high side. I gained a lot of bf weight when I tore my ACL a couple years ago, and just never got back into a steady workout. My family genes seem very condusive to bodybuilding and lifting....as evident by my brother
I just had left ear surgery so I am constricted on what I can lift (very light light weights) to the point I have to stay mostly cardio. I have my other right ear surgery in September....long story short, I will not be able to lift weights until close to the end of this year.
My goal is to get rid of the keg and get back some of the muscles I used to have. I stay in pretty decent shape and am pretty active. I also have a very demanding profession career.
I will post up some shots of me when I get them, and will lurk mostly in the dieting forum and take on some suggestions for a light workout that will still develop muscles and muscle tone.
So, as I lurk, I hope to learn and will be putting together a "stat" sheet. I am already tracking my diet today on Fitday.com.
My Goal:
I would like to see my absput on a few more pounds of muscles and cut down on my BF. I would like to see myself around 185 when lean (8-10%).
