    Sub Q question

I have been doing 2xed 3 iu's each injection. Every couple of days one of them will bruise up and stay bruised for several days. Really kind of odd since they are all exactly the same technique. Any reason anyone can think of for this?

It is just out of the blue so to speak. I am doing brand name Jintropin. I think sometimes it may be that it goes too deep and injects past the adipose and between the fat and the muscle maybe? IDK

I pinch the belly insert the needle all the way, then let the pinch relax, inject slowly, then pull out directly and swiftly.

The bruise today looks awful today. It is VERY bad. Deep purple, and quarter size.

What size needle are you using? How fast are you injecting it into your abdomen? IMO, that looks like bruising.

Give this a quick read over.

I am using 30g 1/2. I am injecting at a 90 degree though not an angle. But all the injections are perfect except two in the last month. This one is the worst. I inject slowly. If this keep occurring it can cause obvious problems for me. By nature of people seeing it it certain situations. I preload a weeks worth of syringes at a time and so for it to happen on one of them but not the others tells me it HAS to be technique, but for the life of me I cannot tell the difference. THis one did have a not under it before the bruise showed up. I really have to figure it out because my wife will freak out if she thinks I am hurting myself in my quest. She is lame to the ideas that we all share here, but additionally doing pull ups in the gym (today is back day) can be awkward. Ultimately I will continue to do it but I would rather not have these tell tale signs.
Zero, thanks for the link. Big thanks also as always.

I am off to do my next shot so lets see if something goofy happens this time. Will keep you posted.

by the way the pic I posted does not look nearly as scary as it does in the mirror. It is extremely dark purple. No discomfort or lumps though. Maybe this one is too far over to the side? It is about five inches from the belly button, maybe a little further than that.

Looks like you hit a small blood vessel, if you look close at it you will probably see a blood vessel going from one side to the other, if you look close at teh skin in a good light before you inject you can see most of them and pin around them.
