    I think this goes without saying that if you have a cat and you are not married or in long term committed relationship that will lead to marriage, then please turn in your ****ing man card.

    I'd never own a cat again. Worst pets in the world.

    Love dogs though.

    True story,
    my wife had a retired police dog as a pet (when she was young)
    She was out camping, and a black bear came out of the woods and started standing up and challenging her and roaring at her. The dog barked at the bear, and when the bear started coming to my wife, the dog attacked the bear so my wife could run away and save herself.
    Unfortuantely the bear killed the dog.

    THere is no way a cat would risk it's life for a human, but a dog would do anything for it's owner/family.

    If a woman has cats and she is over the age of 35, she will probably never be married or married again. I've only met 1 exceptional house cat in my life. It was my ex roommates cat when we were in our early 20's. That cat was the coolest, it would purr non stop and would drink beer out of his dish. Girls loved it because it would crawl up in their lap and purr loud. Most cats suck. They either run away, scratch and shed constantly.
