I have as much faith in Fedor as him promoters do any anybody in the fight game for the long haul knows you have a limited window, he knows this himself, and you need to make enough to support yourself and take care of you're loved ones so you need to be a good business man as well as a fighter to have a real retirement. I don't see this as being selfish, we'll get to see him fight, and he'll stuff these people away and without it being PPV millions of new people will become fans and want him to fight in UFC. Honestly I'm hoping they have someone much more skilled (not bigger or more athletic mind you) but honestly more SKILLED to fight him in a year when this short contract is over and done with. I don't see Fedor loosing but I believe it's possible and I think he'll retire a decade from now with triple digit wins and single digit losses and leave a legacy for many to appreciate. Be patient it will come to pass. He'll never be tired, he'll never stop, hit him with everything you've got and he'll find a way to take it and keep on coming, ask Randleman, he really is the Cyborg. I appreciate his composure and grace in and out of the ring and that's what really makes me respect him more than his impressive, honestly flawless, record. I love fighting and anyone that appreciates the sport to the level I do knows it's about a lot more than how big and strong you are, it's like anything, you bring everything you've got, and whatever you're not bringing in muslce or athleticism you must overcome with technique and heart, and it's going to be a long time before any of the current HV to get to the combined level that Fedor is. Just so everyone isn't blind to the obvious, Lesnar IS a freak of nature built by a life time of drugs and he's a phenomenal athlete, but his fighting game is juvenile in nature and as of right now, his biggest weakness, although his overwhelming emotions seem like they might be another downfall. Some day we'll have somebody with that size and athleticism with Fedor's skill level, but for now, Fedor is the most well rounded HW in existence and I believe the best pound for pound fighter in the world. I've weighed everything as accurately as I can from my perspective and I just find no other verdict.
