had just increased my incline db fly to 50 lb db's. i was about a week into using this weight for the exercise and felt a pull in my neck. i ended up tearing what the Dr. called a strap muscle which runs along your trachea and supports it. i also ended up with air in my pericardial sac around my heart. i know i have to stop lifting for a couple weeks because of the air in my chest cavity, but has anyone torn their strap muscle and how long does it take to rehab and is there a proper way to rehab it effectively and safely![]()
