I'm seeing people adding arimidex at .5-1mg EOD to their cycle, and I'm curious as to why this is beneficial, is it a gyno precaution, or is there a bigger reason?

well those doses are a little high IMO but yes, gyno prevention is the big one but to reduce bloat and control blood pressure are other reasons. It comes down to the individual and how prone they are to estrogen related sides.
ahhhh, so would it be advisable to put it in first cycle, or wait and see if you need it then add it, or use it next cycle?
depends on the cycle.
some people choose a better safe then sorry approach and some dont.
for a first cycle of say 500mg a week of test i wouls have it on hand but wouldnt run it from the start. that way you can accurately guage your sensitivity to ERS (estrogen related sides)
I like to have it on hand lol, but thats just me...
the problem is i got the lion clomi/tamox/letro combo
so I'd have to make another order with em.
I'm thinking of just staying with what I got and just using the letro if bad sides pop up. What do you guys think?
I bought it just in case but I found I didnt really need it. I was on test only cycle 500mg for 10 wks. But I will keep on hand for my cycle coming up in case.
Lion only seems to have l-dex, will it work instead of arimidex?
its the same thing
would I be fine just using letro if bad sides occured, or would it be REALLY advisable to have l-dex?
letro is too strong. what is the cycle?
test e 500 wk 1-12
dbol for 25 days, 40mg ed
for 500 mgs of test .25 mg of arimidex will be fine depending on your stats...letro has more side efx
the only prob I got is wife is a bit freaked out with me getting stuff by mail, so ordering again from lion does not really seem an option.
So I'm just seeing if what I got is good enough, but it is not looking that way :/
It's not popular in the US it seems, but I run proviron in with the cycle.
high levels of estrogen can cause reduced
levels of testosterone, fatigue, loss of muscle tone, increased body
fat, loss of libido and sexual function and an enlarged prostate.
Other problems associated with excessive levels of estrogen include
(1) The shut down of normal testicular production of testosterone.
Excess estrogen can saturate testosterone receptors in the
hypothalamus in the brain therefore reducing the signal sent to the
pituitary gland. This in turn reduces the secretion of luteinizing
hormone, which is necessary for the gonads to produce testosterone.
(2) Increasing the body's production of sex hormone-binding globulin
(SHBG). SHBG binds testosterone therefore reducing the amount of the
clinical important free testosterone in the blood available to cell
receptor sites.
(3) A reduced effectiveness of the testosterone replacement therapy
due to excess aromatization of testosterone medications to estrogen.
(4) Long-term health risks including an increased risk of diabetes,
heart disease, and some cancers."
