why can't i access the PM feature and view profiles?

every time i try to send somebody a private message or try to view their profile, i get this message:

shuarma, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

45 days or a minimum of 100 posts ...then you can access private msgs

im glad i found this thread, i was wondering that myself...i had a couple of questions for a couple of people i wanted to ask, but didnt know if it was proper to do so in open forums....

i might point out though ( even though its NONE of my business) that being a forums admin myself ( nothing to do with this stuff, outdoors forums/gold prospecting) the 100 post thing might have some people just posting anything and everything just to get that 100 post limit .........

You need 25 posts to PM.

For source checks you need a willing staff member, 45 days of membership and 100 quality posts.
