Another new guy on the forum

Hey everyone I figured I would introduce myself. I have been training since I was 15 years old I am now 33. I'm 5'9'' and have recently cut down from 220 to 192 with about 9-10% BF. I train with weights 5 days per week and I do MMA training and BJJ 2-3 days per week.

Hope to learn and maybe even help other a little bit.

Well, there is a story behind that. I got my blue belt from Royce in 2002, shortly after that in 2003 I moved to where I am now and started training with a new school. The brown belt there said I could be purple within two years. I would have if he would have stayed. Instead he moved away and started a new school once he got his black belt and I was left with a 3 strip purple belt in charge of the school that hated my guts. After training there 3 times per week for two more years I asked him about testing for my strips and he said it just sucked for me because he would not even let me test. I left that school and did not train for 2-3 years. I got a call in march form some other guys who had been held back there and left as well, they had started up a new school. Been back into it for the last 5 months hard about 3 days per week for 3-4 hours at a time. I'll finally be testing for some strips in Sep. under Brad Hatcer. So I'm a 7 year blue belt...lol

Most people seem to agree that I'm a legit purple but I guess it will come in time.

    What a story!
Considering BJJ, without caring about belts, do you will to do a cycle?
In case yes, aren't you afraid of getting too much weight?

If the extra muscle starts to hurt my flexibility or my cardio I will trim down. I'm 5'9'' and 192 right now. I seem to roll best st 195-200 lbs. I went up to 220 and that was a bit too much. I had problems using my guard at that weight because my hips would stay flat on the ground.

If I compete later this year it will be at 185.
