    New guy, need direction

    Hello everyone.

Little background I have been training for over 3 years now, went from 290lbs and 28.5 % BF down too 19.5 % and 220 lbs. 6' 1", 25 Years old, I still do not have that body where I feel comfortable taking my shirt of pool side yet, though compartivly speaking more so now than before. I lost most of my wieght in the first 8 months and have ben stuck for the most part ever since. Call it the plateu effect if you will.

Strength wise, I want to increase my max and endurance of the muscle and have some more definition as I am lacking tremedously in tha area, however I would rather not put on a ton of weight considering I just lost it all. I have tried creatine before not much luck. I work out 4-5 days a week, cardio, weight lifting, and I diet for the most part properly. I have done as much research as I can and stil do not feel like I have learned where to start my first cycle.

I would rather ingest than inject.

I did stumble across "legalsteroids" but after using the search button, seems like most consider them bunk. Does anyone have any expeirience with "buysteroids" ?

My future job will entail the necessity for speed and strength so any adivce would be helpful.

    Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your achievements so far. Read all the stickies in each section and use the "New Posts" icon at the top of the page to see what is current. Doing a ton of research will help you tremendously. Most here will tell you that you need to get your B.F. much lower before starting a cycle.

Be careful with ingested steroids as they can be heavily liver toxic. Anavar seems to be one of the better options but can be very expensive.

Read the stickies in the diet section and do what is asked by tracking all of your food intake etc. and then post for help there. The diet guros here are amazing and will whip you into the best shape of your life in no time...

    Again welcome,
    Pete

Well my target has always been 12-14% bf, but as I have plateau'd, I am in need of some help. As far as diet, I have that in check almost to the point of hating every meal. But I'll do it like a champ. As far as fat burners go, any suggestions? Perhaps I am not ready for gear, which I have no issue admitting I could lose some more BF.

Suggestions on other alternative supplements? I know some supplements such as Spawn are reviewed highly, but also need to be watched and PCT is necassary. I almost ordered a bottle this evening, until I decided to look around a bit more inot PCT and other options.

But starting Sept 1st. I'm giving myself 10 weeks, my goals though a specific target I do not have yet, I want to have whatever I need available at that point.

I would avoid any stimulates .

This is a off the wall suggestion .
Go to you tube and watch some off the p90x workouts , then look at some off the 300 workouts .

Then when you are at gym try this :

    Circuit training w/o rest .

    Chest day :
    incline bench 60 % max weight x 10
    Flat bench 60 % max weight x 10
    Flys 50 % max weight x 10
    crunches x 20

Seems light at first til you finish 1 cycle and start 2nd

You can add or subtract better exercise suited to you .

Do 4 sets without rest in between . last set bust out push ups til failure .

This is a example using your imagination and adjusting weights to your desire .

You do similar workouts each day depending on body part

You will not gain strength , but endurance that will help in the next phase .

If your diet is good as you stated . you can drop weight at a decent rate and look good doing it .

Your workouts should be intense and take 25 minutes after you have set up all your weights your going to use .
You rest no longer than it takes to catch SOME of your breath .

If you are serious about wanting 12 % bodyfat . Then you need serious training . Not saying you won't get there , but I lost alot doing this for a month .

Good luck ! Pm me if you need more ideas .

PS , if your laughing at this approach . Then you don't wanna see the back and leg workouts

I have done the 300 workout, hated my brother the next day for making me do it but I did.

I change up my routine 4 diffferent times a week if I go 4 times a week its always different.

When I want to train for endurance/ cardio:

-Run 2 Miles, 8 minute pace
    20 Lunges, 20 Squats, 20 box jumps
-Run 60 seconds at a 6 minute pace, 10 push ups
20 Pull ups, 20 dips, 20 dlt flys
-Run 60 seconds at a 6 minute pace, 15 push ups
20 decline bench, 20 seated row, 20 floor wipers
-Run 60 seconds at a 6 minute pace, 20 Push ups
20 clean and press, 20 dead lifts, 20 sit ups
-Run 60 seconds at a 6 minute pace, push up till failure

34 mins, trying to go faster, but I'm still getting used to being this light.

Than I hit the suana and try not to pas out

Days I lift I do exactly that, my max bench 275 x 3, dead lift 400 x 5, haven't really measured max on much else. Lg press was around 650 x 5, but I let off my legs to build endurance instead of muscle.

So, i'll hold off on anything for building muscle for the time being, I read one post stating "I wanna see ripped guys get more muscle not fat guys get fatter", which I'll have to agree with, drop a lil more BF and than I'll go from there.

Anything recommended for fat burning? Than?

My diet while not perfect is as good as its gonna get for my budget.
