Should steroid use keep past players out of the Hall of Fame?

the fact that there can even be a hall of fame, for a sport as lame as baseball, is over my head. but as far as sports in general goes. steroids should be embraced. it is simply a new form of technology, to help athletes be better at what they do. if they want to stick to "all natural", then athletes should be forced to train naturally the way they did 100 years ago, by lifting boulders and sh!t. i dont know how they can call it natural, when they hook up a bunch of sensors to you and a computer. to analyze your movements, etc.

the way things are now with the olympics. its not even about who is on juice, and who isnt. its about what country can develop steroids, that wont be picked up during testing. so most of the people winning medals nowadays, are on some kind of steroid, they just dont get caught.

btw, this is probably int he wrong forum.

    100% YES !

Steriods in professional sport is cheating. Do what you want in the gym but in the game you have to play by the rules.

The way i see it a bunch of ****s that cant do anything right came up with the idea for a hall of fame, so they could have the pleasure of picking who, and who not to be in there. some people get off on denying others and feeling like they are in charge. so i dont even agree with a hall of fame. you either set a record or you didnt.

as for AAS being responsible for records...idk thats a very subjective call on each athlete. i think if you did it, count it.

Bro, if everyone uses them, then it falls back to genetics and natural ability.

pro athletes found NOT to be using should be fined heavily for a lack of effort.

if i'm spending my hard earned money watching a game being played by guys who don't have the balls to stick a needle in their ass then something's wrong.

    man up and dose.

it would be cool if there were leagues that required everyone to be on them but not when there not allowed do you think it would be ok for a boxer to put metal weights in his gloves or a football player to put glue on his hands to hold on to the ball? samething

i don't think that is the same thing because it is external. it is changing the game itself, the items used in the game, the thing you hit your opponent with, or in some cases guys just straight cheat and pay refs.

all of that is bullshit. gear just makes the athlete the best he can be, that is necessary for the best possible competition.

would you not want athletes to get surgery to repair injuries? of course you would. how about to improve eyesight? correct genetic issues? clearly you can't object to that if you think it's ok to correct physical injuries.

now let's just extend that to gear. why can't an athlete use substances that enhance HIS play. not imposing anything on other players (like a metal glove) to harm them or cheating by replacing items used in the game (corked bats, different balls, etc). those are all outside of the rules for very good fair reasons, steroids and such are outside of the rules for stupid unfair reasons.
