So is a product like Dorian Yates Topical L-Arginine Cream useful? That’s a good question and I would like to hear from the experienced users here.
You apply it directly to the skin. It has to migrate through the dermal layer into your capillaries and blood stream, once there it is still just a precursor to nitric oxide and must be converted. Once converted it then needs to be distributed to vessels throughout the body to achieve the desired results (dilate blood vessels).
Seems like moving through the dermal layer is the only real difference between oral vs. topical applications. I saw several medical studies that tout topical L-Arginine for use in hair loss prevention because it supposedly help increase blood flow to hair follicles but no study seemed to be conclusive.
