Please help me with my options!

About three months ago I got a new job, 10-12 hours a day. Since starting I stopped lifting and started eating like shit due to the lack of breaks.

I am not happy with my body any more. I am going to get back in gear now. I dropped like 15 PBS and my bf went up a little

My question is, can I substitue meal-calories in form of protien shakes? Again eating every couple hours is out of the question. Here's what I was thinking...

    Breakfast: 6am
    6 egg whites and oatmeal

8am muscle milk shake 300 calories

11am steak or chicken with sweet potato

1pm mutant mass shake 1050 calories

    4pm sandwhich or something

6pm work out followed by another 1050 calorie shake

    9pm dinner with the family?

Again, I know this is no where near perfect. I am not a body builder, just a hard working son of bitch, that wants to keep strong and in shape. My work schedule is usually 7 am to about 6 pm with 1 lunch break , and 2 fifteen munite breaks.

Please let me know if I should be able to gain from this.

What is for dinner? Also you are taking in alot of calories from shakes, real food would be superior. Give us your full stats.

bf% is a litle high. You shouldnt be eating potatoes and rice in your last meal close to bed if you are trying to lean up. You need a complete diet over haul its a real mess.

Too many shakes. make your food before and eat it during. also if you are trying to cut then why are you taking in mass shakes? If you absolutely cannot eat anything solid when you are at work then try premixing some whey/casein protein with some egg powder or egg whites and ground oats. that is a better shake cuz it is like real food.

I'll try that. Thanks for the advice. It is hard working 55-60 hours a week, lifting, and spending time with my wife and kids. I just have to play the cards I'm delt. Again I am no body builder. I would like to cut bf with jogging at night. But am not too worried about it. I'm not planning on running aas until I'm 100% ready, goal is to gain back the muscle I lost.

I know it's a mess.... But thanks for the reminder. I don't have the luxery to eat, heat/cook food, and sit down to eat 6-8 times a day. That's why I made thread, to find out what I can substitute for the meals.

If you can`t eat properly it is going to be very difficult. Keep cooked chicken breasts near bye you have 3 opportunities to eat at work that I can see. For the record I also work long hours and find ways to down a chicken breast quickly. If you keep making excuses you will never reach your goals.

i have a few friends that have a similar problem as you....they seem to get around the lack of eating time by pre-cooking chicken breasts and other types of easy to eat food and keeping it in a lunch box of some sort at work. one guy even puts the chicken in ziplock bags and puts them in his pockets because he cannot carry a lunchbox every where he goes at work lol its funny but it works. it wont be great but it will help you with your goals. like redz said there is always a moment where you can down some chicken. twist also had a good idea with the shakes he recommended....hope this helps good luck
