Just bought a brand new Civic Si yesterday and let me say - not baddd.

I wanted something fuel efficient for school commute and all but still - car's feeling gooooddd. Three tanks of gas down. :P

Of course I got stick - I just can't afford to be spending tons on gas anymore with a 45-minute drive to school every weekday.

I've been driving all over just feeling out the car and besides the performance which I'm impressed with, the fuel efficiency is amazing. (Before I had a 2002 M3, so obviously the Si is slacking in performance compared to that, but can't beat some cool aspects of it).

Good call, I know they used to sell an auto tranny here in Canada in the si model but I guess not anymore. Would be a good car to turbo charge.

I have a coupe - nobody to drive around except friends haha. I got the polished metal. It's darkish grey.

Oh true - I didn't know they'd had Automatic Si's. Yeah I mean - it'd be cool but before I mess with this I'll probably just buy something faster. If the economy picks up :P

Except I got the GPS Nav in the middle. Can't complain thus far though. Great cheap, fun car.

Yeah stock Si's are just below 200 but it's still a nice little commuter haha.

I've seen some really nice G35's - those car's look pretty sick actually... Little more pricey than I wanted to pay for a school car though.

I wanted to go with an Evo VIII when i went for a new car but gas was through the roof. I went with a fuel efficient car as well. I need a house before toys.

    Hahaha. Called out.

I looked into the Evo's and STI's but it wasn't worth it - I'd rather have stuck with my M3 if I was only worried about performance.

I was looking at both already but here were my issues:

    1) more expensive for car
    2) higher insurance
    3) less fuel eff
    4) I know myself and i would be dropping a bigger turbo in that puppy in a matter of months = even less fuel eff

    I think i make a smart decision.

Haha - only thing is... Whenever I see them it's somebody who definitely doesn't deserve to have it... Rocking back 25 ft before they accelerate, rich girls who've gotten stuck in a ditch, or a 17 year old asian with a giant red dragon on the side of his yellow Lancer wearing raybands and hair spiking through the roof and three asian friends all dancing to his Euro-trance.. (Don't ask me how I'm so specific).

Clearly someone who doesn't see the performance potential of the car.

Yeah, because fighting is such a "gay" thing to do.

Just about any car has potential. They are just too trendy for my liking.

Nice cars, I test drove an Acura CSX which is pretty much the same car only a 4 door alittle while ago. Handled really well for a fwd car with a lsd. They would be alot of fun to race in auto-x.

    I had a BMW M3 - that's German - and it surely wasn't all about luxury. 420+ HP.
