    Howdy,
    Question i've started my first cycle recently test cyp, im starting to eat well i believe but still need to work on diet.

    I train 5 days a week mon-fri how bad would it be to kinda have a binge drink on the sat night, i have stocked up on ZMA. I do realise that most bb'ers have 1 regret of not having enough fun when they were young.

    So my question being how much does alcohol affect my workout i have done through the week?

    If its this case yeah i will stop and have a drink once a blue moon or stop for a long time.

    Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    best bet is to not drink at all on cycle.......it will definately affect the workouts after your binge night.....shit youl only be on cycle prob 12 weeks tops (correct me if im wrong) get your head down and do 12 weeks mate youl be glad you did in the end..........on a side note you should of had your diet in check before starting the gear....head over to the diet section and get that sorted ASAP.....

    Yup like the others have said try your hardest to not drink while your on a cycle.. it sucks the first few times you make yourself not drink when your out on a saturday night but after the 12 weeks (or how ever long your cycle is) you'll see a big difference and know it was worth it

    too be honest i drink during cycle. i dont get really ****ed up but i drink a glass of wine everynight(good for the heart). yes it will slow down the things you are striving for. but i have gotten good gains on a cycle while i drink.

    LOL...I think that's why this forum is so active. While on cycle I avoid going out other than to dinner or the movies. My guess is a lot of guys on here are the same way while on cycle, going out with your friends and not being able to drink sucks dick...so we just sit around and post on steroid forums.

    I actually feel pretty great after not drinking for a few months, amazing how that works.

    Don't worry it won't affect you, I get wasted all the time, and I'm still in great shape(I look like Olympia competitors).

    Hell I even sip on beer during workouts, always gives me a nice kick.

    LOL I'm just playen with you, I never drink.

    And to be honest, I don't think it fits a bbing life-style at all.

    A drink or two every now and then won't hurt you unless you plan on training the next day. But as you put it, binge drinking on saturdays, i wouldn't do that. You're not having a drink, you're going out to get fvcked up. That's bad enough by itself. Just keep it to a minimum every now and then if you must. Personally, i drink about once a month with a nice dinner to take the edge off a little.

    man if i were on a cycle i wouldnt do anything that would inhibit my growth. your ultimate goal is to get big and shredded why would you put something like a drink in front of your goals that you are working so hard on. you can drink when your done with pct

    big muscles pull in women better than drunk slurred conversations, besides u'll get better HOTTER women in the long run.. why screw up a good thing, disappear for awhile get ur gain on and come back in the game

    I'm on week 10 of a test only cycle and i have gotten drunk 3 times on cycle so far. I had a lot of fun in doing so but felt like complete shit afterwards. My kryptonite is drunk food and I am still carrying a bloat from this past weekend (was my birthday). Needless to say I need to really limit myself in the future on cycle, as much as I hate to do so

    One of my biggest lifestyle changes was giving up drinking!!!
    I was a weekend drunk...

    My family loves me so MUCH MORE now and also feel way way better.

    Now i cant stand being around drunks and listening to them tell the same story 10 times in a hour or watching how stupid they look.

    Drop the booze.... waste of money and way over rated.

    I've been sober and in AA for a couple of months and man does it SUCK! HAHA but really I had to it was ruining my life and I don't think I woulda lasted a day on a cycle if I was drinking. Drinking makes it hard to watch your diet. I know when I got drunk I had to be physically escorted out of a buffet one time LOL.

    google alcohol lowering test and raising estrogen and you will never drink again! (that's what happened to me anyways)

    you cycle to raise test... alcohol lowers test and raises estrogen, need I say more?

    LOL yeah man. I'm on my first cycle right now, seen some awesome gains but I haven't had a drink in 2 months. Even though I was never a heavy drinker at all, it still sucks that it's Halloween and I'm sitting around instead of out getting wasted.

    Still, no pain no gain, and at the end of the cycle, it'll all be worth it.

    I don't think it'd be a big deal to go out once or twice and drink while on cycle (provided you weren't doing any orals), but I wouldn't make it regular by any means.

    depends on the amount of alcohol i guess, the average person i know (im a bartender the way) drinks 5-7 days a week, now this may seem like a lot to the average fitness guru on here but from my experience in daily life this is actually pretty normal and i dont know what the OP standards of "Drinking" are..i go in periods of drinking like everyday for a week but sometimesi wont have a drink for months on end..and i would have to say drinking while cycling is really bad idea, brings down ur gains, makes u feel like shit so u wont wanna work out, and raises your estrogen..pick 1 day a week if you must you're gonna have a little "happy hour" time then buckle down the rest of the time is my advice

    Horrible if you're trying to gain big, i drink and i try to keep it very low because if i "binge" drink on the weekend it never fails... I lose about 5 or 6 lbs alone that i have to gain back during the week. If you can get rid of it all together. Either way it does major damage to what you've worked for and you'll wake up pissed.
