    Why do bodybuilders have shit sleep?

    pIve found that in the past 3 years of bodybuilding, my sleep isnt very good! why is this???

    hell i sleep great. i have never slept 8 or 9 hours like some but when i do sleep i get about 4 hours and its 4 good hours then i feel great the rest of the day

    Yea ive done about 8 cycles, consisting of common compounds. Im talking about in general, whilse of cycle

    I lay down and get knocked right the hell out.... Never a problem... Hell I can't even lay and watch tv or im dosing off. 6-7 hours usually good enough for me.

    Could be stress or other issues.

    I personally don't have any problems sleeping. I train hard, and sleep great.

    I have always slept TERRIBLE. So I dont know the difference. It SUCKS not get some quality Z's through

    I sleep good but with all my back issues I only get about 2.5hours before the pain wakes me up.. except the night after I do legs... then I get myabe 1.5hours at a time if i am lucky

    steroids aside. i find that if i workout close to bedtime, i have a hell of a time falling asleep. especially when i do cardio after my workout. unfortunately, i cant avoid this, since i leave for work at 5:30am. and dont get home till 7:45pm. so a quick workout before bed is my only option.

    Taking benzos to sleep is one of the dumbest things people do. They are extremely addictive and you build a tollerance rapidly. You also tend to completely loose to ability to sleep with out them and don't get good restful sleep on them.

    I've had terrible insomnia for my entire life and the only thing I've found that helps is accupuncture. Avoiding sugar and caffine helps a lot too.

    There's no need for you not getting good sleep. Try some Melatonin 3 mg before bed or a ZMA supplement.

    I have suffered from insomnia for years but i found that working out and cycling has helped me sleep better. I used to sleep 4-6 hours a night but now that i am much more exhausted at the end of the day I can easily sleep 6-9hrs. So i am assuming its different for everyone.

    Yes, exercise will help you sleep better,that is a fact.I have never had problems sleeping i sleep 8 to 9 hours a night,heavy.Even on tren i still sleep pretty good.

    I had sleeping problems befor.. but when i started using ZMA it helped me alot with deeper and longer sleeps without getting up in the middle of the night!

    i get good sleep unless im on tren. then i cant sleep cause i sweat so much and wake up in the middle of the night soaked. best sleep aid for me is to jerk off or have sex before bed. i always get 8-10 hours.

    I've tried and are "on" ZMA and it works greatly (though I sleep 8-10 hours every night without a single problem... its nice for the REM (rapid eye movement sleep), which is the best kind of sleep try it..

    for you guys taking ZMA. do you take it in the morning with the rest of your vitamins. or take it before bed??

    Take it before Bed, the Zink and Magnesium helps me sleep.

    with:


    Melanotan

    They are totally different drugs. The first one is a hormone that has a lot to do with sleeping. The second one is a drug that makes your skin tan even without exposure to UV light.

    I was like wtf, lounge material.

    I think everyone is different. I sleep after coffee, after tren, and even after clen. I sleep on average 8 hrs a day. It is an individual thing. I have to piss like a mother everynight... it is going to suck when I get old.

    Speaking of, I just read another post on pissing at night. If you dont have a prostate problem (hope you dont) I know most of us think it's because we drink so much water.

    Do you take Vit D? Stop taking it lat in the evening, only in the morning. It seems to work as a diuretic and makes you pee a lot.

    I hope I don't have a prostate problem... I think I drink a lot of water... I only take a multi-vit in the a.m. Don't be trying to scare me bro..lol. thx though

    No by prostate problem a LOT of people get a little inflamed or swollen and have to pee a LOT or have a hard time peeing. Ever hear one of those guys in the bathroom taking a pee and sounds like they are having and orgasm. LOL

    I dont understand that because there are a few simple meds out there that would get rid of their symtoms but they choose to live with it??? I know they have insurance also because of where we work.
