    Cardio on an empty stomach?

I have read different threads that say you should do cardio on an empty stomach..............
Then i read that its best to take a whey shake on waking then train cardio.

    Please clarify this for me?

Empty stomach cardio is best. And it was advised to me to fix 5g glutamine in a water bottle drink 1/2 before you begin and the other 1/2 as you do the cardio.

*** note*** if I stated this about the glutamine someone PM me so that I may edit my post.

I find it hard to train in the AM, let alone do cardio.

I do it at 70-80% PMHR for 20-25mins PWO 4 times a week.

I also sip my PWO shake throughout.

it depends on your goals. Im w/Swifto, training upon waking in the am is a tough one also. But I believe that if youre trying to lose bf, do 30-45min first thing in the am on a empty stomach AND 30-45min pwo for a min of 5 days/week.....personally I do 45 min/4 days/week steady state cardio keeping my hr @120....Im on my feet all day at work so am and pwo cardio, plus running around for 10 hours, no way, lol.....

Well training in the am is a no go for me as well. I need enough food prior to heavy training, usually 3-4 meals

However have done empty stomach cardio plenty of times for burning fat, low intensity with my heart rate at around 120-130bpm. It worked well for me along with my diet as the cornerstone to burn fat of course

so based on my last post the best way to burn bf is to do the am cardio thing if youre in a cutting phase, right? Of course diet has to be dialed in as well.

I think I read that Fireguy does both am and pm. No wonder why hes so ripped.
