    Thanks Guys

I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum that contributes their experience and knowledge.

I have been on depression medication for about eight years and then I found this forum.

After reading and reading many many hours I finally decided to seek out a doctor for HRT.

Last week I got the results of my blood and saliva tests. I know it sounds odd, but I REALLY hoped that I had low testosterone and hoped that maybe THAT was why I was having problems with depression.

Well, it turns out my testosterone is VERY low, and there were other things that were low like cortisol as well.

Anyway I got a shot that day, and am now on testosterone cream.

That whole day I was FLYING high man... I REALLY felt good. I don't know if it was a placebo or if it was because my test was sooo low and the shot gave me a boost.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to everyone.

I'm doing 1cc of test cream every day now.

The doc gave me the option of that or a shot every two weeks. I'm not sure that I took the correct option since a lot of guys here do the shots, but I remember reading that it's best to do a shot every week to keep the levels stable.

So I opted for the cream.

Do you guys think I should go with the shots every two weeks or stick with the cream?

I haven't felt that "high" that I had after that first shot on the cream, so I'm wondering if maybe I should go with the shots.

Anyway... thanks again guys for everything

The shot is definitely better, you could always get your own gear and administer weekly injections.

Good for you man. I would do injects over cream all day long. I went off antidepresants a few months ago. I tried several times and got sides and went back on so I bought a pill splitter and gradualy came off over 2 months by triming off 1/8 every week. The docs sure don't tell you that when they put you on.

I was once lost on gel, but then found the injections (200mg per week to be exact) ... A much better route.

    Good luck.

    Thanks so much again guys

I was offered a shot every two weeks, do you guys think it would be better to go with that or should I ask him for a weekly shot?

    Imatk,

Good to hear Imatk, testosterone is never checked bu doctor in case of depression. It's a stupid behavior cause everybody know the importance of hormones / moral.
It will be good for you. I'm hypogonadal guy (low testo, out of normal range) and testo make me feel better. You have to figure out the good dosages!

Moreover testo will help you to "manage" the stress, and it's another good thing.

PS= I'm french, sorry for my english.
