    Cardio overtraining???

I was just wondering if doing 45 minutes of cardio every morning on an empty stomach and after every workout(5 days/week) another 45 minutes keeping the intensity between 60%-70% of my MHR is it overtaining?

thanks guys this was helpful. I will continue doing 45min AM and add 30min PWO. Right now, I'm taking 5g of BCAA and 5g of glutamine before my AM cardio but not using any supplement for the PWO cardio except the Whey protein shake with dextrose immediately after cardio. I've read that it's better to wait 30 minutes after the end of cardio before taking the shake and add glutamine immediately after. Is it necessary? because I really got used to this routine for the last 2 weeks and I feel great. thank you

After cardio you go on burning fat. You could have your breakfast 30 min after cardio (with bcaa immediatly after), but take your shake immediatly after post lifting cardio.

agreed 100% get the shake in there but you can wait to get your meal.

Im a runner ... be caution of joints w/ cardio... that's over training for me. But besides that It's hard to do too much cardio... you body will tell you quicker than if you over train in lifting... but listen to you body... I run ~ 15 - 19 miles/week... I know people who do more.. but my bodys just says no.

Very few people have that VO2 max capactiy. Be careful, unless your just sprinting your gonna spring a leak and not in a good way. The holy one (Lance Armsrtong) has an ungodly VO2 max and thats about what he pushes his heart rate at during speeds and hard pushes like hills.
