Ok yesterday i went to the pro shop to buy another 10 pound bag of ON whey gold standard.
The guy start telling me that he doesn't like mix products and says that it would be better for me to buy Glutamine and BCAA seperatly to make my own mix, he says that many studies have been made saying that ON whey gold standard doesn't provid what is said on the label around 5gm of Glutamine per serving along with 5.5gm of BCAA.
Also that there are better whey protein brands then ON and he doesn't like ON at all.
I doubt that this would be true, i usually take 3 shakes a day, one in the morning, after training and before bed, around 4 scoops a day.
But he says that BCAA is always good to take in extra for muscle mass and recovery has is glutamine.
Now my intake a day for 4 scoops is 96gm of whey protein, 20gm of glutamine and 22gm of BCAA which seems enough for me.
One scoop in the morning, 2 scoops in my PWO and 1 scoop before bedtime.
I am 37, 5 feet 10 and around 212 pounds.
I am also using Animal Pump before training, that has the required amount of creatine for a day, but he tells me that it would be better to have another creatine supplement for my PWO shake.
Now does any of this make sense? thanks guys
