i have all the tools and resources to produce my own supplement. Dose anyone know any laws/requirements i would have to pass to get my product on the market? ive done a lot of research and i found a few for labeling my product but i was wondering if there was anymore i need to be aware of.
thanks guys let me know what you know!

There aren't any...supplements are completely unregulated. But yeah, get a lawyer.

im gona have to disagree, there will be rules and regulations you have to follow. i mean people wil be putting this in there body, im not sure what they would be tho. as long as its not harmful, has anything elegal in it should be all good. but yeah get a lawyer to check it all out for ya.

what are you planning on making? If you start playing around with PH/designer steroids, I could see a serious law suit coming your way. Be careful with it and do all your homework.

the only thing im putting in my product is L-leucine. I'm just going to put it in a pill bottle it up, but a nice label on it and advertise it locally

Would be pointless. Theres much better products out there for a very reasonable price that probably have 20+ amino acids in them that will help a lot more then just that one. Its doable tho I know companies that sell it in powder form for like 500grams for $20. I think a single amino acid isn't much of an appeal for us bodybuilders though we want a wide range of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals which we can get threw protein shakes, multi-vitamins, and other things.

this is very true, but most supplements out there don't have enough of what they clam to have in there product, im going to put the recommended amount of it in there, and i thought who im going to be selling my product too... 17 year old's lol. if i market it right i can sell the product. and right now im on a LOW budget. if i make more money on this i will most likely revise my product.

DillonSmash....it seems you want to just cap L-leucine and sell it to kids who know nothing about supplements. Your not really starting your own supplement company.....your more or less just selling L-leucine. L-leucine taken alone is like taking a bath with no water. There are a bunch of ingredients you can add to the product to enhance its effects. Yes you can buy L-leucine in bulk for very cheap, purchase some bottles, a capmquik machine, throw a label on it.....but in the end your just walking around scamming people for plain old L-leucine. I say scamming because anyone can purchase L-leucine in bulk powder....there is no need for it to be in pill form. I also noticed your posting questions about L-leucine on this forum. You should fully research your product before you even consider selling it. I would suggest reconsidering your ideas...and instead do some research and think of more useful products.

and suggestions on what might be a good supplement to make? ( i don't want to deal with PH crap)

you can do what every other major supp company does and make a super intense ultra mega insane mass building creatine complex. Sell your 3g of creatine monohydrate w/ 1.5g of l-glutamine. put a picture of some fukcin hyyyyuge dude on the lable and claim that it will pack on a lean 5lbs of muscle mass in 1 week. make it look all fancy. Only put enough powder in their to make their $50 last 2 to 3 weeks. When some kid uses your product and puts on his begginning (sp?) gains, it will spread like wild fire. you will have every 14-18 yo kid who plays sports or is sick of getting picked on at school using your sh*t
