I just received the ATT Uverse Internet with 2Wire modem and anytime I am away for over 30 mins my internet shuts down and takes about 20 minutes to boot back up. Can anyone help me stop this

It probably has a power saving option in there somewhere causing it to shut down after not being used within a certain amount of time and for safety concerns just in case you leave it on and someone else trys to go on. Besides that I don't have that so I cannot really help you out with the problem.
