Hello
I've been reading this forum for a while now (approx 7-8 mo.), ever since I decided to try a cycle of 'gear'.
Stats/background:
I am 28 years old. Been working out regularly for approx 10 years. Graduated HS weighing 132 lbs. Weak as shit. While in the Marines, I started weight training pretty hardcore. When I left active duty, I weighed 180. A shadow of my former self. Most former High School classmates didn't even recognize me. Pretty lean, but not 'cut'. Now, having been in college for 3 years and weighing 200 lbs with 12% BF, I have sort of hit a plateau. Not getting any real gains anymore, so I have decided to take my body to the next level with a cycle of gear.
I figured that if I was going to do something like this, I'd do it right by researching the hell out of it BEFORE I started. My initial reaction was of shock when I could not find any clear-cut scientific documentation of the adverse effects that the proper USE (not ABUSE) of anabolic steroids would cause. I was, like a lot of people, so constantly bombarded with the media mantra "steroids are bad, mkay" that I did not even question that knowledge. Sort of like living in 14th century Europe and believing the Earth was flat. No reason to believe otherwise.
However, it seems that given the proper, educated, use of these substances is equivalent to taking any OTC supplement; and sometimes even safer, in the case of all the "pro-hormones" floating out there. They also just work.
Anyway, I look forward to learning even more. At first glance, all the names and terminology are a bit overwhelming. When to use this, when not to use that, AAS, PCT, HGH, acronym after freaking acronym. Currently, I am going to PM some MODS in order to determine the legitimacy of certain websites that supposedly offer 'gear'. I read the scammers list, could not find them listed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are legit.
I will post my first cycle (probably a test/d-bol or straight test) whenever I get more information from mods.
Thank you in advance for any responses.
