Thread: Friend with cancer was prescribed steroids..

Friend with cancer was prescribed steroids..

A friend of mine was diagnosed, and beat cancer..

Before he had cancer, he was always a thin guy, never worked out or anything.

After the cancer, he's kinda big now. I asked him why he's so much bigger and he said he was given steroids.

I'm just curious what they gave him, I don't want to pry and ask (or indicate that I am interested in steroids myself, I'm quite secretive) but I wonder how a doctor would prescribe steroids for a cancer patient, what type of dosage, and PCT?

most likely test, deca and gh. most cancer/aids patients are given steroids for muscle wasting desease. I couldn't tell you dosage but i'd bet money it was 300mg+ weekly of test.

He doesnt need any PCT if he is on it for life. Just like us who are on HRT, no PCT required.

Why be shy, he is your friend? I couldn't imagine NOT asking him everything.

You think he's on steroids for life?? I think they only gave it to him in the hospital, he's beat the cancer and no longer has it.

If he's your buddy, just ask him. I'm sure he could answer your questions about himself better than anyone here.

I agree, they support tumor growth which is not going to help someone in remission.

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Bingo... this is the one. Of course they can prescribe various types of steroids for different things.. this one above being the most common. Dad had Cancer in his brain and he was given this to get fluids/bloat. It really helped elliviate a lot of the pressure he was getting from the tumor. Not anabolic steroids though.
