    Looking for constructive feed-back

    Stats-

    Age: 32
    Weight: 147lbs
    Height: 5'8"
    BF%: 15%

    Training history -

    I have been training for 4 years and have tried all kinds of workouts (ie. Endurance, strength, crossfit, GVT). I try to change it up every 6-8 weeks or so. Currently doing GVT. I train 4-5X per week.

    Nutrition -

    Not a big fan of junk food and I try to eat a balanced diet with whey protein & creatine as supplements. Beer was a real killer this summer, but I'm phasing it out gradually ;-)

    Hey everyone, I've been looking at various threads on this forum and have found some useful information however I'm still as confused as I was in terms of what my 1st cycle should be.

    I'm not a very big guy and I am not looking to pack on 40lbs. Also, as a teen, I was very prone to acne so I'm also looking to try out something where "acne" is not the dominant side-effect of the substance.

    Given this information, do any of you have suggestions for me?

    Well basically man as a first cycle you really only want to use test. Test E or C would be the best choice. Have you read up on PCT and AIs and AEs?

    Get your diet right, it will pack on more pounds then anything you can inject and it does not cause acne either. All kidding aside, at 147 lbs you need to get your nutrition and training in proper order first.

    When you say to get my training right, are you saying that I should stick to 1 routine instead of alternating every 6-8 weeks between crossfit, strength, etc.?

    As for getting my diet right, I totally agree with you. Having a wife and 2 young kids is what makes this part very difficult. I tried the anabolic diet for 2 months and immediately saw results... ...but the cost of the diet was $$$, especially when the rest of the family isn't on the diet!

    I guess what I was looking for in steroids was a little boost in size and bring down my BF% to about 10%...

    unless you permanently alter your diet, you are wasting your time with steroids. if you woke up tomorrow and magically had another 15lbs of muscle and was at 10%bf, you would immediately start on the course back to your present stats because of your diet.

    diet is what you'll wanna change first, all the vets here will tell you to change this first otherwise the gains will more than likely be lost

    In your opinion, should someone go low carbs / high protein-fat diet or follow the instructions in the diet thread?

    I've been reading a lot on this and everyone seems to have a different opinion on it. For me, I've seen a difference when on the anabolic diet, but I can't say I've seen much difference on other diets. Then again, I likely wasn't eating enough...

    Regardless, this forum is pretty neat and it's awesome to see other people give their feed-back/thoughts...

    ...and to answer my fellow Canuck's reply, yes I read on PCT & AI... What would you recommend using with a cycle of Test-E??

    I was always thought you had to use a waterbased steroid with an oil based steroid?? (Please forgive my utter "GREEN NESS" here.

    When I was 17, (I know this was wrong) I had been training quite seriously for about 4 years. (the older I got, the more serious I got) I mean, heck, at that time, I'd rather go to the Gym on Friday nights than go out to dances....(I think thats weird now..) but anyways.

    Under the advice of what we thought was a pro, a few friends of mine, (4 of us) each took as our first cycle, Winstrol V, and Anatest. I can't remember much of the details here, but I know that I did see some type of progress. Nothing earth shattering, but I went though 6 weeks of insomnia, I nearly failed Grade 11, and I developed an appetite that would make a sasquatch blush!

    I have to add, another MAJOR mistake that I made while training back then, is that I didn't know how to eat! (still don't)

    So, recently I've started training again, I've improved my eating habits, (I think so anyways) and, I was wondering about the above quote. So as a first time cycle, one could just use a "Test" product? Now being 35, I'm starting to be more concerned with an "ED" side effect, and not sure I understand the HCG addition to a cycle. But thats not my question, Basically, can you just use a "test" product, on its own?

    Thanks for any advice.
