    The College Bulking Thread

Keep in mind I am 22, 6'4" and 235lbs, around 13% bf. Lack of much money along with the desire to gain as much muscle as possible without worrying too much about fat gain or repetitive eating got me to make this out. Macros included (cals, pro, carbs, fat)

    2 scoops protein powder 244/46/6/4

    Smart Balance Oil 117/0/0/13
    10 egg whites 160/40/0/0
    2 whole eggs 138/12/0/10
    shredded cheese 150/9/0/12

    1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Spaghetti 260/11/51/1
    8oz Lean Beef 480/67/0/22

    1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat spaghetti 260/11/51/1
    8oz Lean Beef 480/67/0/22

    1 can tuna 185/41/0/1
    Smart Balance Oil 117/0/0/13

    PWO
    2 scoops protein powder 244/46/6/4
    2 cups Wheat Spaghetti 347/15/74/2
    8 oz Lean Beef 480/67/0/22

    1 can tuna 185/41/0/1
    Smart Balance Oil 117/0/0/13

Total Comes out to 3964/473/196/141, or 48%/20%/32%

If I find I am not gaining as I want I will drop some fat and protein and add carbs but I'd like to try this percentage out for a little while and see what happens.

P.S. Total comes out to right around $65-70/week not including the whey.

    Thoughts/Ideas?

Smart Balance Oil 117/0/0/13 you'd be better off with a lean beef before bed, and some efas

I don't see any veggies or efas.

And you have pretty much the same foods all day.

I really don't care for WW pasts, but if it works for you, great.

I'd still consider adding in other carb (sweet potatoes, oats, etc) and protein

    sources (chicken, turkey, etc).

Pro are far more expensove than other macros and they make you need to eat more to bulk because of thermogenesis. So why your diet has 50% of pro?

The smart balance has an amundance of mono and poly-unsaturated fats.

I can get ww pasta in bulk, this is only for a 10 week span. My normal diet is alot different.

I will get some veggies in there, just trying to explain how I can get 4000kcals for cheap.

Like I said, if I need more carbs I will add them. I am eating 2g/lb of protein, and I wanted my fats up, therefore my diet is 50% pro unless I want more kcals.

I would space out the meals a little more. Or perhaps eat less per meal, and create a couple of more meals per day...

    (I know that's hard at university - I'm a student myself.)

Tuna, and cold chicken breast, and (awful) cold brown rice solves most of my nutritional problems

... Not to mention some fibrous vegetables too... but I'm not a big fan of veg, to be honest! lol.

I'm already eating 6 meals/day plus my AM protein shake! That's about the best I can do brother lol. I'm trying the lean beef route out mainly because I'm extremely sick of chicken and obviously for the ease of making it all at the same time.
