What is the general rule of cutting diet?

What is the general rule if you are trying to lose bf from lets say 12% to 8%? Im only interested in general nutrition rule e.g. less fat more carb,or less fat less carb more protein and etc.

General rule is irrespective of your stats, training schedule or aas cycle.

Specific rule, what about the rule if your on aas for cutting? e.g. (Clen, T3, Test)

    Thanks

    carb cycling... that helps.
i think it really depends on the person. i hear sum ppl lower fat, sum ppl lower starchy carbs. it depends on the person. but protein should stay the same.

see because im a bit confused, I lowered my bf from 22% to 12% using calorie deficit (and training). But now that im cuttng to 8%, i been told to take more calorie, less fat (well maybe its because im on test/T3 cycle) but T3 is gonna use up my calorie intake and leave my fat. Hence i need to know the general rule for cutting below 10%
So what do i have to deficit now to get my bf under 10%? Fat, carb, total calorie?

I need to take 2gms of protein per body pound while on cycle and currently 60% of this coming from low fat, low carb protein shake.
