Total Cholesterol Levels and AAS

Hi,

Does anyone know if AAS effect levels of total cholesterol? I have read that testosterone can lower total cholesterol levels, but am not sure this is true. Does anyone have more info? Thanks

Actually, the use of AAS increase total cholesterol. In fact, the worse effects of AAS are that they increase LDL, the bad cholesterol in our body and decrease the cardio-protective good cholesterol HDL in our body.

I try to combat this by increasing my intake of unsaturated fatty acids such as EPA/DHA/Fish oil?olive oil during cycle and increase vit E to prevent oxidation of fatty acids, a step in the formation of plaques in blood vessels.
