I prefer fish oil over flax seed oil anyway.

They each contain different fatty acids and there are pros & cons to each. You can google fish vs flax oil and read up for yourself. There's tons of info on them. Which is better for your just depends on what you're looking for I guess.

I would choose fish over flax EVERYTIME. I would only use flax for treating disease or estrogenic imbalances in females.

That is because of its lignans and nothing to do with its w-3 component.

Fish is hands down better. Flax is a seed source and our bodies do not have the enzymatic capacity to digest and assimilate seeds. So the metabolites that are actually 5 and 6 double bonds strong (EPA and DHA respectively) are converted to very poorly in flax.

Fish have already converted it for us and we get much more benefit.

I gotta ask since fish is a meat I am trying to get acclimated to. Does it taste or smell fishy? If so is it strong? Just curious if it would ruin my shakes.

fishoil is a pill you take, not in shakes.... might smell like fish in the bottle a little but when you take it you wont smell it nor taste it
