Yeah, meat is very important in a bb diet. That said, you can still build a great physique without meat, Ive seen huge vegan bbs.

Dont take shakes instead of proper meals, if you dont like meat try subbing it with some kind of beans, like soya.

I have to say that i wouldnt be able to add mass without meat, especially beef. Syntha-6 is the best protien powder imo, it has a 6 hour release system(six different protiens all in one)

Thanks bro....I was curious because a friend told me that I needed a slow release powder due to the fact that mt lactose issue makes me crap it out too fast. Is syntha6 that type of powder????He also said to mix it with water and not milk or soy. Any thoughts on that?????

Nature's Best has been advertising their "Iso-pure Protein" as being for people who are lactose intolerant. Their ad has been in the front of the last few muscle mags that I've bought. I'm talking about their clear liquid bottled protein drinks. I'm not sure about their protein powders...

whey concentrate has the greatest likelihood of giving you lactose problems b/c it contains the highest level of lactose among the whey proteins...whey hydrolysate has the lowest levels....

isolate falls somewhere in the middle...where, who knows?

Isopure isn't a very high quality protein, but it is pretty easy on digestion....

start drinking 100% liquid egg whites if you can handle it....I've been using them as my pro shake for years now with great results
