What's everyones thoughts on this. If you think about it nominations for the award are in February of every year. That means that he was nominated after just 1 month of presidency. They said they gave it to him for what he's gonna do not for what he's done. I think it's horse shit and there were probably a lot more deserving people that were nominated.

He did the right thing by giving the money to charity and to say he does not think he deserves it either.
If he turned it down it might be viewed as an insult so it's a catch 22.
