hey fellas i was wondering if the heavy bag and boxing is as effective as the normal boring ass cardio for fat burning. i have been back at the bag in the am and i must say it is alot more fun then walking on the tredmill.

how long do you hit the bag for?
I suppose if you can keep your heart rate up high enough for 30 mins of boxing i cant see why you wouldnt lose weight.
remember though, with cardio its how long you do it, now how hard for max fat loss.
well atleast its totally true for my body. what are your stats?
i usually walk on a incline for 20-45 min on the tredmill in the am on empty stomach. i do the same when i hit the bag. shadow for 20 and hit the bag for 20. my stats are 185lb 5'10 prob about 10%bf age 23
i just want to know if it is good to burn fat or just for cardio, cause i don't want to lose size.

Play sports. Racketball, Basketball, and Tennis is fun and makes the time go by much quicker then being on a treadmill. I an play ball for hours and not realize it but Ill go insane running on a treadmill too long. Definity get into sports if you dont like the repetive cardio excises in the gym.
How does 500 below maintenance and no cardio sound for losing fat cuz its been working for me.

I don't do cardio cuz it hinders recovery time which I don't want when trying to build some mass or maintain mass while trying to lose body fat.
