sum ppl think that ur slin spiking after u wrk out is good.. other ppl say its not necessary at any point thro the day. i think unless ur training 2x its not necessary. esp. for a cutting diet.
pick 1 day a week for you refeed day. try to increase ur cals 500g
right now im on a strict cuttin diet so i limit my refeed days to 4 meals/ snacks. dark choc, frozen yogurt and the rest will be starchy carbs. but on my normal diet my refeed days wil have pizza ice cream choc. bars lol... w/e i want as much as i want lol.
diff ppl will have different opinions on ur refeed day.. no one really knows wats good for YOU, its all about ur genetics ...
Ive been doing my re-feed every other Saturday. This has been working for me the best. Im a little up in bf so I limit my " cheating " to twice/month. My cheating isnt that bad anyways. Once I get to the point where Im happy, Ill probably go with once a week.......As far as insulin spikes, not for me....jmo.
personally, I'm a bigger fan of small cheats here and there as opposed to a massive food circus every 7-14 days....I've always believed cheat days are a bad idea, except if the psychological cravings are overwhelming
cheating and re-feeding doesn't mean eat junk food....it can simply mean eating a bit more than on other days....
