    Post Workout Shake

For over a year I've been doing 40-50g whey Cup of oats and a banana. It always seemed to work good. I just recently switched it to 60g waxymaize 1banana 50g whey. What's the best ratio to take immediately post workout

dude, Ive been trying to figure out the same thing.

There's so many discussions on this and this is what I do personally. Right now Im cutting so on weight training days I have my bcaa's right after training, pwo shake with oats 30 min later, then normal meals. On cardio only days, I just have a shake, no oats. Then for dinner, I cut my carbs in half.....Im not sure if this is textbook but this is working for me....

Out of curiosity, if it was working why did you switch it?

in the end, it really makes no difference what you have PWO, so long as it contains lean protein and preferably no fat.....your diet the rest of the day is far more relevant than one protein shake...

too much is made of the protein shake.....whey protein is the biggest selling BB supplement, and everyone has been made to believe that w/o it, nothing is possible....I still think you can get equal results forgoing the shake and just eating, as well as using liquid egg whites over whey....
