x3 on eating cleaner... Why would eat like $hit when you aren't working out as hard and burning fewer calories? That would have a greater, adverse effect than if it were a normal training week for you.

I'm just the opposite. I assume you were pretty strict with your diet during those 8 weeks, so i say loosen up a little. Taking the week off is a good thing and you can reward yourself a little. Just watch your portions and time of day.

    No prob man...

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding this... He said he has been training hard for 8 weeks, not necessarily cutting down hard for 8 weeks... I'm assuming he's doing nothing more than a clean, lean bulker. A recovery week now and then is always a good idea in imo, but a full week of cheating? That would be ridiculous... For most people, when they cheat, they cheat big!!! That's why I don't really condone cheating... I consider a high carb day a cheat for example, so I'm still eating clean, just more calories that day... We all eat out or something occassionally, but just keep in mind that one evening of foolish binge eating can result in the loss of weeks worth of work

I never heard anyone recommend him to cheat all week long.
