I dont know how to approach this and old ex of mine who i dated 3 years ago has now contacted me for the third time out of the blue. She has a boyfriend but seems interested in me still. She broke it off with me cause I was having some problems with drugs and my life was just all scrambled up. So since we broke up I have made no attempts to contact her in anyway but she remains to text/call me out of the blue to see "how I am doing" and asks me weird questions like if i miss her and such. Now a couple months since we last spoke she has been texting me. And now last night I missed a text from her asking me "what are you doing". So what do you guys make of the whole situation? Diamond i could use your female perspective as well. Any input is greatly appreciated as always.

I would bet that the fact you had no closure is playing a big thing in drawing you back. Not to mention the fact that you've made drastic changes to your body and lifestyle and you have a natural urge to show her what she missed out on. I know when my ex and I split up I was a 140lb stick figure and when I hit the gym and bulked up to a lean 185lb I would go places she was so she could see what she messed up and missed out on lol. Although I prolly would have never changed my body or lifestyle if we wouldn't have split up.
