Friend of mine was telling me i could get free needles on the NHS if i walk into my local community drug & alcohol centre...apparently if you tell them your doing steroids they'll give you advice as well as free pins...well i pay my taxes so why not eh?... what do you guys think should i go for some freebies?

Regestering yourself as an illegal drug user to save a couple of bucks doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Pins are cheap. Leave the needle exchanges for junkies. Probably perectly safe to get the free pins but my privacy is worth a 10 cents per pin.

Just noticed the OP is from UK. Forget everything I said, since steroids are legal there. Go for it with the free pins and advice if you feel like it.

If you go to your local needle exchange and tell them your injecting AAS you will get free needles and pins, they dont ask you name they register you as a number.

I just signed up at a needle exchange and they give you all the stuff you need to inject and be safe as well as doing blood tests and have an on site doctor that is only there to do with steroids. Its on once a week and Im gonna get some bloods done next week to make sure everything is going ok. They only need to take more details if you want your blood checked but if you dont want that they give you a number and help with everything else. Much better to know that if you have any problems theres a doctor who deals with steroids available to help.

in the uk its not legal to use or import just illeagal to sell and even then its only a class c and very under looked by the law ,steroid law here in the uk is very very slack indeed.

Yep that is true. Where in the uk do you live? Its part of the needle exchange service, they give you everything you need (including wipes, sharp box etc) no questions asked. A lot of lads from my gym use this service.
Google needles exchange in your area, or go on talk to frank webpage for link!! Personally I just buy them now rather than relying on this service as the needle exchange place is always full of smack eds!!

Live in Milton Keynes and the local needle exchange is literally 5 mins travel from me, which is why i was considering it.... I'll definately have to check out frank website before i go, good advice.... Not to worried about the smack heads see em all day long on the estate where i live, always trying to sell me phones or other goods lol

needle exchanges are private and anonymous. no one knows your name, they dont ask for ID and as stated in the other posts some have doc on site to assist with any questions and concerns you may have. i would not use them on the reg because they dont always have the pins for gear as they pretty much cater to the dope community. but they can be useful if you're mid cycle and low on pins.
