having a really hard time not eating at night, help me !!!!!

im a automotive tech and sometimes its so hard for me to stop during the day to eat if we are really busy.

so when i get home im starving and i end up eating all evening and then waking up at night and eating.

ive changed the foods i eat to be easy and fast so i can at least sneak in 3 meals durring work but im still hungry and in the habbit of eating at night and its really hindering me from getting to the bf i want.

im doing cardio 3 times a week for 30 mins and it helps but i still havent gottan to where i want to be.

my question isnt about diet but more about hunger suppresents.

do you guys know of any supps are tricks to fighting off hunger.

    sorry for the stupid question.

    thanks

Cramer this is not a stupid question, what is your diet like when you get home from work? an hour before you go to bed 3boiled egg whites and 2 whole eggs, this helps me alot when i do contest prep, i dont go to bed with my stomach feeling like its eating itself. Also when you wake up in the middle of the night with the hunger pains have a protein shake waiting by the bed and down it and go back to sleep. This will help i promise but post up the rest of your diet so the gaps can be filled in...TOPHER

    thanks for the help man

this sint exact but heres what it looks like on a good day.

    7 am 5 eggs

10 ham and cheese rolled up. about 5-8 slices of each.

1 pm t slices of pork tenderloin and mixed veggies.

6pm 2 chicken breasts and mixed veggies

8pm some sort of snack. like mixxed nuts or fruit.

the times vary and sometimes i miss a meal or 2 if i am slammed and sometimes im not consistant with serving sizes.

im trying to cut alot of carbs out. sometimes i will eat brown rice.

i just want to get lean and when i wake up and find my self in the kitchen eating away before i am even fully contious really isnt helping.

start including more nuts in your diet....a handful or 2 of almonds or peanuts is quick, nutritious, and filling...

see if you can add some beans (red or black) to your diet mostly for reasons of nutrition and satiety, as well as being an excellent carb source....

your diet is f*ucked. sorry to be so blunt but it is really bad. no carbs all day and then simple sugars at night - no good. if u want to get lean its going to take alot of effort in the diet side of things which involves alot of preparation and alot more cardio. every body is different. you need to find what works for you. i do hard weights 4 days and cardio on the other 3 days and i am getting leaner every week. carbs are based around my energy expenditure but watch these video and it will be a good start. http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=323516 btw if i could get up and do 1 hr empty stomach cardio i would but i am happy doing what im doing.

I'm an auto tech also. I understand what it's like to try to fit in the meals. I have a refridgerator on my box. Full of chicken breast, cottage cheese, tuna cans, nuts, natty pb in my box. These can all be eaten on the go. It's not abnormal to see me hanging over a car with a hunk of chicken hanging out of my mouth. If there's a will there's a way. As for the late night situation. The protien shake idea is good. I also have a large glass of water next to my bed.
