    Beginner looking for diet advice

Hi everyone. New to the forum as you can tell and looking to get some advice on my diet in order to reach my goals of losing weight in the form of bf, tone and maybe even add a bit of muscle. Stats are female, 26 y.o., 5'6", 150lbs. and about 23% b.f. Thanks.

I'm pretty new here but you can read the stickies at the top of the diet forum page. They should answer most of your questions if not all. Then I would come back and post a sample diet for all the guys here to critique. You should also find out your BMR and your TDEE that will get you on track to finding out how many calories you should consume each day.

    Good Luck!

A diet in the 1300-1600 calorie range consisting of around 40% protein, 30% carbs and 30% fat would be a good start. Add in 40-60 minutes of cardio a day 6 days a week and you should start to see some results. Post your plan and then a further critique of your food choices and meal timing can be done.
